Dr. J Kevin Duplechain, MD

A native of Port Barre, Dr. Duplechain earned a degree in Biochemistry, Magna Cum Laude, from Louisiana State University. He attended LSU Medical Center in New Orleans and obtained his medical degree in 1985. He completed two years of general surgical training at Ochsner Medical Foundation and four years of training in Head & Neck Surgery at Tulane University Medical Center. He served as Chief Resident at Charity Hospital in New Orleans in 1990 and 1991. Dr. Duplechain is Board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology in Head & Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Diplomate of the American Head and Neck Society, and a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society. He is a clinical instructor in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery at both Tulane University Medical Center and University Medical Center.
