A board-certified neurosurgeon, Dr. Rosenstein has been a leader in his medical field and in full-time practice in Arlington, Texas since 1985. In addition to specializing in treating disorders of the spine, he also treats patients suffering from compressive peripheral nerve problems such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and ulnar nerve entrapment at the elbow.He obtained his B.A. degree in Human Biology from Johns Hopkins University in 1976, where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society, the oldest undergraduate honors organization in the United States. In 1979, he acquired his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1979 and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. The following year, he performed his internship in General Surgery at U.T. Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas/Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas in 1980.In 1985, Dr. Rosenstein completed his residency and formal training in Neurological Surgery at U.T. Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. During his tenure, he served as Chief Resident of Neurological Surgery. He undertook his Fellowship Training in Neurological Surgery at the Institute of Neurology, Gough-Cooper Department of Neurological Surgery at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases, London, England.Dr. Rosenstein’s knowledge, skill, and resources enable him to treat an array of conditions ranging from simple sprains to complex spine disorders.
