Dr. Jamal Fawaz, MD

Jamal Fawaz, M.D. joined the Brook Lane medical staff in 1997. He is an outpatient adult psychiatrist. Dr. Fawaz is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in both General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. He received his medical degree from Spartan Health Sciences University, West Indies and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Maryland. He served as the chief resident and following his residency, Dr. Fawaz completed a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry. Dr. Fawaz’s areas of special interest include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, panic disorders and psychopharmacology.
