He is accustomed to evaluating and treating 2500+ new pediatric ENT patients annually. He enjoys education …and has given interactive talks to nursing, critical care, and emergency room staff at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as well as to the Atlanta Speech School, The Alexander Graham Bell Society, County Audiologic Services. Atlanta Magazine has recognized him as one of Atlanta’s Top Doctors.Dr. Sipp is the youngest of four children and grew up in Ohio. He was exposed to medicine early in life by his mom, a nurse, and his grandfather, a general surgeon in solo practice. He graduated with a degree in Geological Sciences from The Ohio State University in 1993 and worked several years in the field including a one-month stint in Antarctica. A self-described “late bloomer,” he then gave teaching a try.Ultimately, he committed to the study and practice of medicine and graduated from medical school at Ohio State in 2001. Residency brought him to Emory University, for whom is he gratefully indebted, for his training in ENT. This training was further refined with a fellowship in pediatric ENT at Massachusetts Eye and Ear infirmary and Massachusetts General Hospital prior to returning to Atlanta. Dr. Sipp and his wife Molly now enjoy their lives together in Atlanta with their four children and dog named Sammie.
