James Heller, M.D., is a board-certified thoracic surgeon who has been serving the local community of central New Jersey for over 20 years, and has recently joined the Hackensack Meridian Medical Group family. Dr. Heller uses a patient-first philosophy and makes it apriority to ensure open communication with patients and families.
As a part of Hackensack Meridian JFK University Medical Center, Dr. Heller has access to the latest technology so he can provide his patients with the innovative care they are seeking.
Prior to joining Hackensack Meridian Medical Group, Dr. Heller was a private practice physician in Edison, NJ and he performed procedures out of JFK University Medical Center and Raritan Bay Medical Center. He was also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ. Dr. Heller is currently a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
