Dr. James Barron has been practicing General Surgery and Colon & Rectal Surgery in Boca Raton for over 25 years. He obtained his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his General Surgery training at the Alton Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. Dr. Barron then completed a Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr Barron specializes in Colon and Rectal Surgery, and is one of the leaders in the field of Minimally Invasive Colon Surgery. He is Board Certified in General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
