Dr. Jared Tristan Ritter, MD

Dr. Ritter studied psychology at Toccoa Falls College and Biochemistry at the Florida State University. He completed medical school at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his postgraduate medical education at University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine with residency training in Psychiatry and a two-year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He maintians a voluntary faculty position as a Clinical Teaching Assistant with the University of Hawaii’s Department of Psychiatry. His active clinical practice is located at Florida Health Care Plans clinics in Holly Hill and Palm Coast (Florida). He has …been published in several scientific medical journals including the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (JAACAP), and Psychiatric Services. He presented a scientific poster at an AACAP Annual Meeting on the Pharmacogenomics of ADHD based on a research collaboration with the National Human Genome Research Institute at NIH.
