Dr. Jeffrey Adams received a degree in Microbiology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1982 where he was a Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis in 1986 with high honors in the Alpha Omega Honor Society. His internship and residency were completed at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina from 1986-1991. Dr. Adams became board certified in 1993. In addition to his duties as a doctor, Dr. Adams is a member of several organizations:
American College of Sports Medicine
Tennessee Orthopedic Society
American Medical Association
Maury County Medical Association
Clinical Orthopedic Society
Dr. Adams is a native of Memphis. After living in Charlotte, North Carolina for 5 years, he returned to Tennessee to practice medicine. Dr. Adams is married to Tina Hyatt Adams, a registered nurse. They have two children, Jennifer and Jonathan. Jennifer is at Belmont College and Jonathon is at UT Knoxville.
Dr. …Adams is a sports enthusiast and loves to both coach and participate. He especially enjoys golf and fitness training.
Dr. Adams has proudly served as the team physician for Columbia Central High School for 17 years. He has been been in Maury County with the Mid-Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic since 1991. Dr. Adams is currently serving as Chief of Staff at Maury Regional Medical Center.
