Dr. Jessi Munoz, MD

Dr. Munoz is a board eligible adult psychiatrist who completed his medical training at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School. Most recently, he completed his psychiatric residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Over the course of his training, Dr. Munoz has practiced in various settings, including outpatient and inpatient, as well as in the psychiatric emergency room.
Dr. Munoz has more than three years of experience providing patients with compassionate psychiatric care through pharmacotherapy and supportive therapy. He has expertise in treating patients with depression, anxiety, bipolar, and psychotic disorders. In addition, Dr. Munoz has vast experience with working in the LGBTQ+ and Spanish-Speaking communities.
The philosophy of his practice is to view patients as a whole and to meet their specific needs to make an impact in various stages of their life. Dr. Munoz emphasizes the importance of exercise, relationships, and general well-being in his practice.
