Dr. John Frank Schultz, MD

A native of Houston, Dr. Schultz attended Boston College, then returned to Texas and attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School of Dallas. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and entered private practice in Corpus Christi, Texas for four years before relocating to Colorado, where he worked at Aspen Valley Hospital for nine years. Dr. Schultz joined the medical staff at Vail Valley Medical Center and Mountain Surgical Associates in 2013. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has special interests in abdominal surgery, endoscopy, and minimally invasive surgery. When not working, he enjoys skiing/snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, and playing ice hockey.
