Educated at Yale and Johns Hopkins, I have spent >30 years practicing and teaching Vascular Surgery. I have lectured all over the world and published >250 articles on all aspects of Vascular disease. I have served as President of multiple Vascular Organizations and have as a Senior Director of the American Board of Surgery and Chair their Board of Vascular Surgery. This organizations examines and certifies the competence of Vascular Surgeons. I have spent my entire career in University hospitals where I have trained >45 vascular surgeons. I am internationally known for my expertise in carotid surgery for stroke prevention. While i have extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of aneurysms and peripheral arterial disease (“PAD”), my current areas of interest are carotid surgery for stroke prevention, the diagnosis and management of venous conditions and the management of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.M y current practice is focused on the diagnosis and management of complex …vascular problems.
