About Dr. Quinlan
Dr. Quinlan grew up in Iowa in a chiropractic family. His father, John W. Quinlan DC practiced
chiropractic in Dubuque, IA for 38 years.
Dr. JP followed in the footsteps of his father selecting the chiropractic profession as his avocation.
He attended Iowa State University in Ames, IA, graduating with a degree in chemistry in 1993. He obtained his chiropractic training in Lombard, IL at the National College of Chiropractic (now
National University of Health Sciences) graduating in 1996 receiving a clinical achievement award
from National. He has practiced acupuncture and chiropractic since then in a variety of family
practice settings.
He is certified in acupuncture and in addition to diversified adjusting is a Cox flexion distraction
certified practitioner. He is licensed to practice chiropractic in Iowa and Texas. He is a member of
the American Chiropractic Association and the Texas Chiropractic Association. He also has a
certificate for completing a comprehensive …training program in whiplash and brain injury
traumatology. In addition to spending time with his wife Angie and their children, his interests
include hunting, fishing, reading, canoeing, camping, swimming, bicycling, and running.
