I am originally from the white sandy beaches of Florida, but was “dragged” out to Southern California to complete my orthopedic surgery residency at UCLA. I then went back to Florida, and completed 14 months of spine surgical training at the University of Miami. This was a fantastic learning experience as I was trained by both orthopedic spine surgeons and neurosurgeons. There I focused on treating pathology of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, as well as deformity surgery of adults and children. My wife and I then moved back to beautiful San Diego (she grew up in the North County) to start practice after all these years of training…we love it here in San Diego (who doesn’t?), where I enjoy playing golf, volleyball, surfing, and snow skiing/snowboarding.
