Dr. Herman is the director of the pancreatic multi-disciplinary clinic and focuses on translational treatments for gastrointestinal malignancies. His research interests include innovative combinations of stereotactic radiation with immunotherapy and targeted agents for pancreatic and liver cancers. Other interests include outcomes reasearch and treatment related quality of life. He specializes in intraoperative radiation therapy for recurrent malignancies and endorectal brachtherapy for early stage rectal cancers.
