Dr. Juan Jose Cabanillas, DDS

A 27-year veteran in the field of dentistry, Dr. Cabanillas never stops pursuing perfection. After graduating from New York University with a degree of Doctor in Dental Surgery, he completed a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center where he received extensive training in Oral Surgery, Periodontal Therapy, and Reconstructive Dentistry. He also completed a Prosthodontics program from Harvard University/VA Hospital in Boston, MA where he received the first honorary mention in the 22 years of existence of this combined program. He was also the Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida from 1998-2005. Dr. Cabanillas looks forward to taking on difficult cases and challenging himself in the pursuit of perfection. His drive in the field of dentistry is the ability to change people’s lives. Throughout the years he has been able to help his patients restore their smiles, reduce oral pain and improve their self-esteem, not to mention save the lives of three …patients by early diagnosis and treatment of oral cancer. Dr. Cabanillas is also an active member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics and the Academy of Osseointegration. When he is not perfecting smiles, he likes to read, scuba dive, play sports and spend time with his family, and hopefully one day be able to spoil his grandchildren.
