Dr. Juan Jose Villar is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in New York who has been practicing since 2024. Prior to becoming a Doctor, He was a member of the Peruvian national Swim Team where he competed internationally. He studied Chemistry and Math at the College of Charleston in South Carolina, received his Medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, Residency degree from Ocean University Medical Center, New Jersey, and Child and Adolescent fellowship degree from Jersey Shore University Medical Center, New Jersey. Dr. Villar is one of the most relatable, non-judgmental, and easy-going people you will ever meet. He is a versatile, achievement-driven individual with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Dr.Villar is reliable and compassionate, with a broad world view who will always strive to make all his patients feel heard, comfortable, and special in their own unique way. Outside of work, Dr.Villar enjoys open water swimming, lifting weights, Jiu jitsu, and traveling.
