Julie Gilkeson, MD, FACS, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained vascular surgeon. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a credential given to surgeons whose education and training, professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation.Dr. Gilkeson moved to the Dayton area in 2012 after graciously accepting an offer to join Dayton Surgeons, Inc., a surgical practice that had been in Dayton since 1952. She is a highly skilled and experienced vascular surgeon who is compassionate and dedicated to the care of her patients.Dr. Gilkeson is deeply involved in the education of medical students and surgical residents at Wright State University School of Medicine with the designation of Associate Clinical Professor. Without hesitation, she performs hours of charitable surgery.
