Dr. Julie L. Foreman, MD

Dr. Julie Foreman, a Louisiana native, is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine, New Orleans. Dr. Foreman completed residency training in Ophthalmology at the Hamilton Eye Institute at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, followed by a Glaucoma fellowship at Tulane University under the direction of Dr. Ramesh Ayyala–a leading expert in the field.Dr. Foreman has been practicing comprehensive Ophthalmology in Lafayette since 2012, with a subspecialty focus on the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and emphasis on minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). She is the only fellowship-trained Glaucoma specialist in the area.
