Dr. Queen received her M.D. from the University of North Carolina, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where she also did her residency in the Department of Medicine. She performed a Clinical Fellowship in the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina.
She joined Mountain Medical Associates, L.L.P. in August 1986 and is affiliated with Haywood Regional Medical Center.
She is certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. She is the Medical Director of the Haywood Regional Medical Center Osteoporosis Center and is certified by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry as a Clinical Densitometrist.
