Doctor Ken Laudenbach has maintained his private practice of Periodontal Prosthesis and Periodontics in Philadelphia since 1972. He has been trusted as a top clinician in Philadelphia since that time. His kindness and expertise has developed a safe haven for both the dentally sick and the dentally well. The attainment and maintenance of their dental health, function, and natural beauty are his goals. Most of his patients become friends. Other doctors or his loyal cadre of friends refer all new “friends” to Dr. Laudenbach for his personal and effective care.
Dr. Laudenbach is a Clinical Professor in the department of Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Teaching in this premier Post Doctoral program has kept Dr. Laudenbach at the top of his profession, which translates to state of the art patient care. His clinical and seminar teaching to dentists from all over the world has served to elevate the …level of dentistry as his graduates return home to all points of the globe to teach and practice these specialty areas of dentistry. Thus, we have a broad network of expert colleagues to refer our patients while they are traveling or relocating.
In the early days, Dr. Laudenbach received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He served in the United States Army as a Captain in the Dental Corps and returned to the private practice of general dentistry. He taught at the Ohio State University. Dr. Laudenbach’s specialty training includes certificates in Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Laudenbach is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology. The ITI is a worldwide academic association of clinicians and researchers in implant dentistry and related tissue regeneration. Calling on his expertise as an Implant Surgeon for over 20 years, Dr. Laudenbach has worked with the ITI Fellows to develop a curriculum to teach Implant Dentistry to all levels of general dentists and specialists, as well as develop research projects in the field of Implantology.
His professional memberships include: American Dental Association (Life Member), the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He has authored several scientific articles and has presented over 100 lectures to dental societies, schools, organizations, and private study clubs. He has trained oral surgeons, periodontists, restorative dentists, orthodontists, and prosthodontists in the complexities of implant and restorative dentistry.
