Dr. Shamieh is a hometown boy who grew up in Louisiana, played tennis for the top-ranked LSU Tigers and received his medical degree/Orthopaedic training from LSU-Shreveport. He has been trained and licensed in Total Disc Replacements of the cervical and lumbar spines. He is a member of the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
