In 1983, he earned his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and after moving to the United States, he completed his internship and internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He went on to complete his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the prestigious Cornell University Medical College in New York City, and in 1999, he made the move to Odessa, TX. Since then, Dr. Dar has earned numerous awards and accolades for his work in the medical field and was even voted “Best Physician in the Permian Basin” by Odessa American voters.Dr. Khavar’s goal is to develop strong patient relationships based on trust and experience.
