Khazi A. Muqeet, MD, is a board-certified adult psychiatrist at Rogers Memorial Hospital – Milwaukee. He specializes in the treatment of major mental illnesses and addiction.
Dr. Muqeet has trained in the United States, Great Britain and India extensively in the treatment psychiatric disorders. He completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he also completed his psychiatry residency and served as chief resident. He completed an additional residency in psychiatry in the North Wales Psychiatry residency program where he also served as chief resident.
In addition to serving in leadership positions during his training, Dr. Muqeet was the recipient of several awards and recognition for his academic excellence. He has presented to numerous clinical and academic audiences internationally. He has a research interest in the applicability of genetic testing in psychiatric disorders.
He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American …Medical Association, Wisconsin Psychiatric Association and the Royal College of Psychiatrists (London, UK).
