Dr. Lanonie Ashley Simpson

Lanonie is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She is certified as both a Family Nurse practitioner (FNP-C) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She is exceptionally devoted, with over 5 years of experience treating and diagnosing a wide range of mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and insomnia. She is extremely passionate about her work and eager to provide comprehensive mental health services to both adolescents and adults. Lanonie completed her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Degree at the University of Cincinnati and her Master’s degree in Nursing at Georgia State University. Her compassionate and nurturing spirit allows her to establish natural connections with her clients. Ultimately, her goal is to ensure each client has a plan of care that is effective and specific to their needs. So, although her primary duty is medication management, she also offers therapeutic services such as motivational …interviewing (MI), problem-focused solutions, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
