Lateela Burns is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)who has 12 years of experience as a therapist and case manager. Lateela works with adult and senior adult clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, stress-related illnesses, chronic pain or chronic health issues, self-esteem issues, and other types of crises. She has also assisted clients experiencing relationship issues, burnout, caregiver strain, and grief. Lateela completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology at Xavier University of Louisiana, and her Master of Science (MS) in Professional Counseling at Georgia State University. Sheimplements cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and strength-based techniques in order to bring awareness to a client’s thought process as it relates to their emotions, self-esteem, overall wellbeing, and ability to overcome crisis.
