Laura is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 10 years of experience treating a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and insomnia. She believes strongly that healing begins with a trusting relationship and encourages her patients to be active participants in their care. Laura completed her Master’s degree in Nursing at Walden University. Her background includes providing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings for a variety of mental health issues. In addition to medication management, she utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and supportive therapy, in addition to medication management.
