Dr. Laura Minhui Kim, MD

Dr. Kim is a board-certified Otolaryngologist Head & Neck Surgeon. She attended the University of Toronto and studied Pathobiology where she obtained her Bachelors and Master’s degree. She continued her education at the University of Toronto where she obtained her medical degree. She then completed a five-year residency training in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at Western University. In 2020, Dr. Kim moved to Houston to complete a two-year fellowship in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Kim practices within Head and Neck Oncology and sees patients with Head and Neck cancers including upper aerodigestive tract malignancies, skin cancers, endocrine malignancies and other disorders. She has a special interest in robotic surgery for operations in the head and neck (TORS). She also works with patients requiring reconstruction following resection for the above malignancies including locoregional reconstruction and …microvascular reconstruction (free tissue transfer). Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and likes to paint and visit art museums.
