Lee Nelson, MD, ABNS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon in Boulder County, where he provides treatment for brain and spine tumors, lumbar and cervical fusion and reconstruction, lumbar stenosis, meningiomas, and various other complex spine conditions.
Dr. Nelson earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he earned the Kinjiro Iwata award for exceptional contributions to the department of neurosurgery. He then stayed at Baylor College of Medicine to complete his internship and residency training. Dr. Nelson is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Colorado Neurosurgical Society, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
In his free time, Dr. Nelson enjoys traveling and many outdoor activities like adventure motorcycle riding, golfing, hiking and auto detailing.
