After completing medical school, Dr. Vinnick had an internship and residency in San Francisco, California. He then served in the U.S.Army Medical Corps. This was followed by a residency in internal medicine at Boston University, then a fellowship in diabetes and endocrinology at Harvard Medical College and Northwestern University Medical School. He has practiced internal medicine, as well as diabetes and endocrinology in Stamford since 1968.
