Dr. Leyla Abazari, DDS, PED

Dr. Abazari, for the past 19 years, has been setting the highest standards of excellence in clinical pediatric dentistry. Dr. Abazari received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2002. In 2004, she completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Riley Children’s Hospital and Indiana University in Indianapolis.
Dr. Abazari is highly regarded in her professional community. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has lectured to pediatricians, general dentists and other dental specialists on current topics in Pediatric Dentistry.
Her lectures focus on the prevention of dental decay and early intervention. In addition, Dr. Abazari has lectured on minimally invasive restorative procedures, which have drawn lots of attention and interest in recent years.
Dr. Abazari has considerable experience and extensive training in caring for children’s oral health care needs. As an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatric …Dentistry for 5 years in UCSF and USC, Dr. Abazari has contributed to the education and training of many dental students.
Dr. Abazari maintains memberships in professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry as she stays current on the latest advancements in the dental industry, She is also a member of local dental society such as Mid-Peninsula Dental Society and Santa Clara Dental Society.
Forever Smiles Pediatric Dentistry believes in giving back to the community, which is why every year, Dr. Abazari and her staff volunteer at schools, local mom’s club organizations and health fairs doing community outreach activities. Each year during Children’s Dental Health Month, Dr. Abazari and her staff give toothbrushes, flossers and provide education for those in need.
Dr. Abazari resides in Palo Alto with her husband Paymon and her two daughters.
