Dr. Lisa Ekeanyanwu is a board eligible Psychiatrist. She completed her psychiatry residency training at Stanford. She has practiced in various settings over her career including in-patient, out-patient, community settings, emergency rooms, tele-health settings, as well as international clinical fieldwork settings.
Dr. Ekeanyanwu’s practice centers on pharmacotherapy. She offers this in conjunction with supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, to treat psychiatric conditions. Occasionally she may believe that additional therapy may be necessary and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.
Dr. Ekeanyanwu believes in the importance of providing safe clinical care centered on meeting everyone’s specific goals and improving their overall quality of life. She has a special interest in the impact that culture and/micro-culture has on mental health and strives to understand and respect her patient’s life experiences …and values. The philosophy of her practice is to collaborate with patients to meet their specific needs to make an impact in various stages of their life.
