Liza is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) focused on the treatment of the adult population with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma- and stressor-related disorders. Liza completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree (PMHNP program) at Walden University. Before pursuing her MSN, she worked in different settings as a psychiatric nurse for almost 20 years and provided care to individuals with various mental health diagnoses, ranging from mood disorders to schizophrenia. Her education and extensive clinical experience honed her skills in building therapeutic rapport and identifying client needs. She appreciates the variability of cultural backgrounds and life experiences and incorporates these in the formulation of individualized treatment plans. In addition to evidence-based medication management, she provides psychoeducation and supportive therapy to help clients maintain a healthy and meaningful life.
