Louis Lux, MD attended medical school in 1985 at the University of Texas Southwestern and completed his residency at the University of Florida Associated Hospitals in Internal Medicine in 1988. Dr. Lux is Board certificated in palliative medicine as well as the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Lux specializes in palliative medicine, whose purpose is original medicine: to relieve suffering for patients with serious illness and their loved ones. This is done by listening and understanding patient goals of care, and management of distressing symptoms so as to maximize quality of life.
