Lowell Byers, MD, is an experienced, award-winning gynecologic oncologist with the AdventHealth Cancer Institute Shawnee Mission.
Dr. Byers is Board-certified in gynecologic oncology, obstetrics & gynecology, and internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed residencies in both internal medicine and obstetrics & gynecology at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. He completed his fellowship training in gynecologic oncology at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Dr. Byers has earned a number of professional honors throughout his career, including consistently being named a Top Doctor by Kansas City magazine.
