Luke Umana, MD, provides care with the Springfield Clinic’s Bariatric Surgery team and sees patients at Springfield Clinic Main Campus East.Dr. Umana earned his medical degree and completed his general surgery residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He also completed a bariatric and advanced minimally invasive surgery fellowship at AdventHealth Tampa in Florida.”Growing up I had interest in science and helping people. So it was a natural fit for me to go into medicine,” says Dr. Umana.
