Dr. Marc Anson Weitzel, MD

Dr. Weitzel has an interest in the prevention of both primary disease and prevention of progression of disease, especially in complex patients, such as diabetics who are plagued with diffuse and highly restenotic lesions, occlusions, and sudden death. Having been a diabetic for the past 20 years, Dr. Weitzel looks forward to new advances in medicine and their implementation. He has also given numerous talks to diabetic support groups. He is active in diabetic pump sponsorship, and lipid management, as well as participation in the AHA Heart Walks in his spare time.
