Dr. Margaret Heyong Mei, MD

Dr. Margaret Mei is a board certified rehab physician and a medical acupuncturist. She graduated from a top medical school in Shanghai, China, and was trained in both conventional and traditional Chinese medicine. Her post-graduate medical training includes dermatology in Shanghai, surgical residency at Lenox Hill Hospital (NY), and rehabilitation and pain medicine at Albert Einstein Medical College (NY).
With her comprehensive medical experience, Dr. Mei is able to deliver a wide variety of individualized treatments to our patients. Our therapies are especially effective when conventional treatments have been insufficient or have failed entirely. Our natural approach also assures that our treatment will have minimal or no side effects.
In addition to her expertise in conventional rehab and pain medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, Dr. Mei is one of five doctors in the US to have completed top master level training in SCENAR therapy. SCENAR therapy is a powerful solution …for pain management, injury and wound healing, cancer therapy, emotional balance, skin care and much more.
Dr. Mei is also skilled in the use of essential oils to successfully treat many medical, emotional and cosmetic problems where conventional medicine offers little help. While perfecting her treatment skills, Dr. Mei has developed a unique technique treating trigger-point induced soft tissue or other medical problems with immediate symptom relief.
