My natural father was an American Air Force doctor who was married when he met my 19 yo Japanese mother in Tokyo. It was a Madame Butterfly type story but it had a happy ending. She gave me up for adoption when i was a year old and i was adopted by an Army chaplain who took me all over the world. i learned service from him and doctoring was in my genes! i graduated from Harvard under an army scholarship program and was a trauma doc for eleven years on active duty. i left the military and settled in Florida where i have a private practice which is holistic and unique! i am active in medical politics and also have a second career as a professional dancer.
