Dr Briones completed her residency training in internal medicine at Long Island College Hospital in New York. She became board certified in Internal Medicine in 1996 and a Diplomate in Bariatric Medicine.
Medicine since 2010. She has active privilege at Northern Westchester and Burke Rehabilitation Hospitals.
Dr Briones is a member of the American Medical Association, The American College of Physicians, the America Society of Bariatric Physician, and the Diabetes Medical Association.
She has an Academic appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Medicine at Weil Cornel Medical College.
