Dr. Cleveland received both of his doctorates from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1990. Following an internship in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, he pursued a residency in Dermatology at Washington University/Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. After working on staff at Washington University for two years, he then relocated to Burlington, IA in 1996 in order to establish his Dermatology practice. Dr. Cleveland is on staff at both Great River Medical Center and Fort Madison Community Hospital and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He currently holds an appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Iowa. He also is an active member of the Iowa Dermatologic Society and the American Academy of Dermatology among other professional organizations.
