Dr. Mark J. Sterling, a Long Island native, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his practice. He pursued his education at Walt Whitman High School in South Huntington and attained his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. With a medical degree from New York Medical College in 1991, Dr. Sterling embarked on his journey to excellence. He commenced his Internal Medicine training at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan and later transferred to NYU, where he completed his training as a Physiatrist at the Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine in Manhattan.Dr. Sterling proudly serves as the Chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at St. Catherine of Siena Hospital and Medical Center in Smithtown, NY.
