Dr. Mark Wehrum, DO

Mark Wehrum, DO, is a board-certified and Yale-educated perinatologist at AdventHealth Medical Group’s maternal-fetal care specialty practice in Winter Park. He has been in practice for more than 20 years and specializes in high-risk pregnancy care with an emphasis on safeguarding the health of mothers and their babies. A prolific researcher and award-winning medical educator, he earned his medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and undertook his residency training as a military officer at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio prior to completing his advanced fellowship training in maternal-fetal medicine at Yale University in Connecticut.

As a U.S. Army Medical Corps officer for over 20 …years, I served in numerous leadership positions which culminated in selection as the Chairman of the Department of OB/GYN at Womack Army Medical Center in 2012.
