I have always loved interacting and working with children, even before I started medical school. I knew that pediatrics would be my specialty. As an attending physician in the pediatric emergency department, I diagnose and treat children with a wide range of medical issues—from minor illnesses and injuries to life-threatening conditions. I love having the opportunity to interact with so many different families and I find it immensely rewarding to be able to help children and their families during what is often a stressful experience.
