Dr. Marvin P. Frogel, MD

Marvin P. Frogel, M.D., is the Co-Chief of the Division of Psychiatry at St. Francis Hospital. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at New York University College of Medicine. Following his psychiatric training, he entered private practice in Great Neck, NY, where he continues to do general adult and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Frogel also served as a Supreme Court appointed forensic psychiatrist in Nassau County for five years and has had over 30 years of experience in consultation and liaison psychiatry at both North Shore University Hospital and North Shore Family and Child Guidance Center. Dr. Frogel has worked with both the personnel and patients in the departments of cardiovascular surgery, gastroenterology, dialysis, and pain management in understanding and dealing with the mind-body interactions of illness. He is board certified in psychiatry and neurology.
