Dr. Matthew Kent Flynn, MD

Matt Flynn, M.D. founded Family Dermatology in 2003. He is originally from Oakland and Stockton, California. He earned his B.A. in applied math from Harvard then attended Duke Medical School, where he was first in his class. After interning at UC San Francisco, he served as resident and chief resident in dermatology at Stanford. He is the recipient of a Presidential Service Award from President Obama for his ongoing work volunteering as the dermatologist for Wake Countys Department of Pediatrics, where his wife Theresa is a pediatrician. Dr. Flynn has coauthored half a dozen medical Board review and other books. He has three boys.
