Dr. Kikuchi is a specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a caring surgeon with a gentle chair-side manner who believes every patient should be treated as if they were family. His extraordinary commitment to patient care from the moment of first contact throughout the patient’s life is extremely rare. Dr. Kikuchi completed his specialty and residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital and College of Dental Medicine in Augusta, Georgia. Prior to residency Dr. Kikuchi graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree with an emphasis in sculpture. During his residency Dr. Kikuchi trained under nationally recognized leaders in the speciality, becoming highly skilled in facial reconstructive …surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, TMJ surgery, maxillofacial pathology and general anesthesia. He was a clinical instructor in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department for certification courses in IV sedation for dental professionals, and a lecturer in the department of Periodontics on emergency protocols in sedation. Dr. Kikuchi served on the Head and Neck Tumor Board, a multidisciplinary council that assesses the diagnostic and treatment decisions for debilitating cancers of the head and neck region, and acted as Chief resident operating on patients with life-altering facial trauma at a Level-1 Trauma Center. Dr. Kikuchi is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He holds an active license in the state of Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and Colorado. Las Vegas is where he calls home with his beautiful family. Dr. Kikuchi enjoys spending time outdoors, meeting new people, being involved with local church and civic activities. Dr. Kikuchi recreationally enjoys bronze/marble sculpting, fishing, cooking, and taking family road trips.
