. I am a native of San Antonio and attended grade school (St Luke%u2019s) and high school (Antonian) in San Antonio before heading off to Creighton University in Omaha, NE. I met my beautiful wife Renee while in college and we married during Medical School in 2002. Four winters in the Midwest reminded me of how much I loved Texas and we came back to Houston for Medical School at The UT Health Sciences Center. While training as a General Surgery Resident in Jackson, Mississippi we welcomed our son Ethan in 2007 and our daughter Elizabeth in 2010. Again, Texas was calling and we headed to Dallas for my Fellowship in Colon & Rectal Surgery. The round trip was complete after returning to San Antonio from a 14 year hiatus. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve my community. I am Board Certified in General Surgery and am specially trained in minimally invasive surgery including advanced laparoscopic surgery, single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS), colonoscopy, and …multiple other procedures.
