Dr. Michael Edward Kokat graduated from the University of Illinois in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in organic chemistry AND a Bachelor of Arts degree. He continued his studies at the Scholl College located at the Chicago Medical School/Finch University of Health Sciences where he earned a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2003.Dr. Kokat completed his first residency at the Madison VA/University of Wisconsin Hospital in June of 2004 where he focused on podiatric orthopedics and surgical diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Kokat also completed an additional two years of surgical residency at Midwestern Regional Medical Center/Cancer Treatment Centers of America concentrating on various aspects of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.Dr. Kokat helps patients throughout the Milwaukee area with heel pain, foot and ankle injuries, bunions, toenail issues, diabetic foot care, ankle pain and custom orthotics.
