Michael Coats, M.D., sleep medicine, joined MultiCare Rockwood Clinic in April 2015. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Dr. Coats completed residencies in Neurology and Psychiatry as well as a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Coats is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American Psychiatric Association.
