Michael G. Gates, MD is a native of Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Gates attended Auburn University’s College of Science and Mathematics, where he earned his bachelor of science in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Gates completed medical school, his internal medicine residency, and his fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is board certified in internal medicine as well as in allergy and immunology. He began practicing with Pulmonary Associates in 2013. He is currently a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
